PRODUCT END-OF-LIFE AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION.

Guidelines for the proper management, recovery and recycling of components and packaging materials used in SICES electrical control panels.

End-of-Life Management of SICES Products.

SICES has carried out an end-of-life assessment of a typical control panel. By considering the disposal and recycling processes of the main materials used in the construction of a control panel and starting from the bill of materials, the ease of disassembly, separation of individual components, and recyclability of materials were evaluated.

Electrical and electronic components that are part of the control panel must, at the end of their useful life, be delivered to authorized facilities capable of properly treating and disposing of these products and their components.

If the electrical control panel is dismantled, the disposal of its components must comply with the regulations in force in the country where the product is installed. In all cases, any form of environmental contamination must be avoided.

The information provided is for guidance purposes only and must always be verified against the environmental regulations applicable in the country of installation, as well as local requirements concerning waste collection, recovery, treatment and disposal. SICES recommends that all recovery and disposal operations be carried out exclusively by authorized and qualified operators in accordance with applicable regulations.
