Sices, in collaboration with Tep Energy Solution, has designed, constructed, and tested low-voltage electrical panels, MCC and Power Center, for the power supply of auxiliary systems of the new high-efficiency trigeneration plant, combined with a district heating and cooling network for users outside the paper mill. The plant, with a power of 7 MW and a production of about 48 million kWh per year, will produce electricity, steam, and hot water, allowing for the complete coverage of the plant’s needs. In addition, the adjacent university campus will be able to use excess hot and cold water produced to heat or cool its own buildings.
